ELECTRONIC BILLBOARD
The Russell and District Chamber of Commerce and their partners with Asessippi Parkland Tourism invite you to advertise on our 8 x 16-foot LED digital sing located at the Visitor Information Centre located in Russell. The location and positioning of the sign allows for an average of 2100 travellers a day to view the ads featured on the sign!
The Russell and District Chamber of Commerce, Asessippi Parkland Tourism, and the Russell Visitor Centre use the digital billboard as a method of fundraising for our organizations and providing services to and for the local area!
We would like to kindly offer the option for non-profit organizations and organizations who wish to host no-cost community-enhancing events the option to apply for a free slot on the billboard to enhance our community. These will be limited and decided on by the board for both advertisements' purpose, who it benefits, and whom it is hosted by, as well as other options. All advertisements will need to abide by the guidelines set forth including all Manitoba laws. The organization will be held responsible for providing appropriate art that meets these requirements. We will have a limited number of slots available per month and this is not intended to reduce paying advertisers agreed-upon rotation below what was presented. All advertisement requests MUST be submitted a minimum 60 days prior to the date to which they are to be posted, and art finalized, provided, and approved no later than 30 days prior.
Our Annual Ad Packages are as follows:

- Supporter = $540
- Member = $420

Q: How long does my ad stay up on the board?
A: Each ad will have a 10 second duration totaling 14,000 ads per day. This means that on any given day, your ad will be viewed 140-280 times depending on monthly ad sales.
Q: Where is the electronic billboard located?
A: The location of the billboard is at the Russell Visitor Information Centre; a location that provides great highway exposure!
Q: Is there a limit to how many lines of text each ad can have?
A: Ads can possess a maximum of three lines of text.
Q: Is there a maximum word count for each ad?
A; Each ad can have a maximum of 12 words.
Q: Is there a required font size for advertisements?
A: Lettering can only be 16cm in height.
Q: Which is the ideal format to submit my advertisement in?
A: Files must be provided in PDF, AI, EPS preferably, however, JPEG, TIFF, and PNG are also acceptable.
Q: What is the ideal image resolution preferred? How many pixels?
A: A minimum file resolution of 480 pixels wide by 256 pixels high is suggested. Files also need to be RGB.
